The time HDSSG went intergalactic!!
This week Huddersfield Down Syndrome Support Group went intergalactic.
Whilst scrolling through old photos I came across a fantastic picture of a budding astronaut – HDSSG’s Jack D and decided to send a quick tweet to Mr Tim Peake. You may know that British ESA astronaut Tim is currently orbiting the Earth aboard the International Space Station conducting very important experiments and the such so never in a million light years did I expect a response to my tweet!
But lo. Less than an hour later, a mention! A mention! From Tim Peake… From space!
